Abel Crawford
Abel Crawford is a 2013 Dutch Warmblood gelding by Dakar VDL out of Moncherette. “Abel” was purchased in 2021 by Millar Equine Sales as a hunter prospect. Having shown exclusively in the jumpers up to 1.25m, Millar Brooke South turned Abel into a promising hunter prospect showing in the Green 2’6” and 3’0” hunters. Abel now shows in the Green 3’3” Hunter division and national hunter derbies with much success. Kelly Soleau-Millar, who pilots Abel Crawford, took home a first-place finish in the $2,500 USHJA National Hunter Derby as well as numerous top-three finishes in the Green 3’3” Hunter division.
